February and March
As the spring flowers started to appaer, the renovations to the White Lion were nearing completion
April
The weather continued to improve, the White Lion re-opened and the village bus shelter, which had been vandalised in the previous autumn, was repaired by James Shenton.
May
The Weaver Wander car rally started in Hankelow, and the first of the year's ducklings arrived.
June
A village picnic took place on the green to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee, then preparation for the annual village fete began.

Once again the weather was good for the fete, there were loads of visitors and a good time was had by all.
Summer
The annual Festival of Transport took place with plenty of vehicles of all types and ages. The White Lion staged a hugely succesful music festival. The ducks and chickens continued to thrive by the village pond, but the weather was extremely dry.

Autumn tints beginning to appear
November and December
As winter drew in the White Lion was a popular (and warm) place to visit.
